Damn! Now those are two really hardcore bikes with the internal gear boxes and everything else. It looks like it could tank over anything.

 the rotor is on the frame to reduce unsprung weight, and it is attached to a chain that's fixed to the rear hub, so slowing down the rotor on the frame will slow the chain, slowing the wheel just like a normal disk brake. I just wouldn't want that chain to snap

 idk what that rotor is for but there isnt one on the rear wheel so maybe a brake?
