 I don’t know how accurate this is, and these days you always gotta question your source, however maybe it is the stay at home order that has decreased crime? Maybe Gothem city doesn’t need Batman, they just need a stay at home order!

 So... you don't believe the CDC?

 @badbadleroybrown: honestly I don’t know who to trust, and in addition to the CDC, it seems like they also got facts from the NYT. I completely trust the NYT, however they can be biased on some issues, which could throw these graphs off wildly. That’s all I’m trying to say.

 @JacobyDH: The NYT reported using data from the CDC

 @badbadleroybrown: where did you get this graph?
  • 2 0
 @JacobyDH: it references both the times article and the CDC study at the bottom of the image

 @badbadleroybrown:it’s an interesting graph!

 Most of these numbers will be skewed to some degree, even with best intention. This would correlate with Sweden thiugh. Except Swedes didn’t exactly stay at home. Basic Social distancing was introduced but mainly in the form of no mass events and no discos, no humna gatherings bigger than 50 people. It was enough to cut influenza and stomach flu by 70%

 There's nothing to skew... it's reported causes of death. It's an objective datum without interpretation.

 @badbadleroybrown: I have no choice but to believe that specialists involved in making this graph, determining causes of deaths, writing reports made the most scrupulous work in the world. In socialist Sweden where people are kept outside against their will, forced to sit in the restaurants, go to work to earn their socialist benefits, the chiefs of Socialist Healthcare system supporting worthless unemployed citizens of second class, they said that their numbers are skewed since it is very hard to determine why did the old person die. Quite a few diseases cause Cardio-respiratory failure... one of main reasons even more socialistic Norway has almost no Covid19 deaths despite numbers of sick people being equal to Sweden, is because they report it as cardio respiratory failure. So do Polish hospitals. Poland is currently in the midst of A dramatic epidemic of pneumonia, as if Corona pandemic wasn’t scary enough. Or maybe not.... So Swedish officials, They didn’t say it, but they kind of meant it that after 80 everything is natural causes and most deaths of any respiratory nature can be assigned to Covid19 at this point. And they kind of meant it that most countries with awkward numbers are full of shit. Especially those showing numbers of recovered cases.

 @WAKIdesigns: honestly, the vast number of covid numbers are bullshit... people didn't suddenly stop dying from other causes, those deaths are just getting lumped in as complications from covid because it backs the narrative.

 @badbadleroybrown: some claim corona is a gateway bug for all sorts of bacteria. Damages lungs and all other sht living/ sleeping in your lungs starts messing you up. So...
  • 1 0
 @WAKIdesigns: actually, what's damaging lungs and producing most post-recovery suffering is the invasive procedures used in treatment like ventilators.

 @badbadleroybrown: As far as I'm aware, any death where the deceased has COVID-19 is being attributed to the disease, whether it was the actual cause or not. The CDC also took the unusual step of instructing hospitals etc. to list COVID as the cause of death if there is a reasonable chance it was the probable cause of death, which is a big departure from the norm. It might have something to do with the Federal Gov't providing $13K for the treatment of COVID patients, whether or not the patient has health insurance or not, and that figure rises to $39K if the patient is put on a ventilator.
Kinda paints Cuomo's impassioned pleading for 30,000 ventilators in a different light, donnit.

 @SmashySmashy: It's all covid deaths now... It's about nothing but money and power. The "CARES Act" provides huge financial incentives to hospitals for calling things covid. It's not $13,000 it's a full 20% of whatever the charges were. So if they manage to have $100k billable, it becomes $120k just by calling it covid, and they don't need a test. It's basically a blank check for hospitals right now, funded by tax payers. Biggest goddamn scam in history.

 We are adults, give us the TRUTH and let us make our own decisions . . . Wait, that means government looses control

 Very interesting, it seems COVID-19 is a cure for other ailments Smile
