Just looking at some of your pic's and saw THIS. Holy sh*t that bikes a monster ride. I started getting into motorcycles when I was very young. LOVED enduro, you know street legal dirt bikes. Got hit by a driver (taking a left hand turn of course) on Memorial drive in Cambridge. Suffered fairly serious injury but lucked-out I didn't get killed.

Because Boston is so traffic congested, and the streets vary from well-kept to old neglected potholes, the drivers often care less about watching for motorcycles, I promised I wouldn't own one again for as long as I lived in the Boston area. Well, a hundred years later and I STILL live near Boston. It's ironic that I ride all the time in traffic on my hardtails, even commuted to work in the Back Bay on every nice day I could ride. Maybe I feel like I'm not "part" of the traffic when I'm on a bicycle, and that makes me feel safe? IDK but I've learned to zone out the traffic annoyances in the city. I ride safe and am quite capable so I'll do that as long as my body lets me I'll do it.
I still wear a knee brace when mountain biking or playing sports due to THAT motorcycle accident the happened in the f*n 80's!!

You still riding motorcycles?

hey !! thanks for the compliments. Sucks to hear about the accident. It's stupid crazy dealing with the drivers in lots of places. Can't imagine Boston...LoL...(Fla was terrible....)
had several close calls myself that could have ended up beddy beddy bad, and tucked the front end once (at about 60mph) that left me feeling pretty beat up for a while. Hit the deck and tumbled, with the bike landing on me during the process. My shoulders still struggle from that one.
I don't have a motorcycle anymore, which sucks and I miss her baaaaadly. But, I have a garage filled with other two-wheeled fun now. So now I try to get as rowdy as I can on the trails with old Stinky Wink

@adm750: Hey if I didn't have those three accidents (all found driver 100% at fault) I may still be riding them today. Seriously though I actually get more thrills and enjoyment out of mountain biking, no joke. It's great that you still ride the MTB!

and good for you on the MTB-ing as well...! I used to hate it (was a diehard roadie...), now I couldn't be without it.

bro i had an 89 katana 750 and a 92 gixxer 750. even after a number of litre bikes the 750 is always gonna be my favourite bike. just seeing two tones of blue puts me in a good mood.

sweet obee !! you had a cool batch of bikes there !!

yeah...I owned that bike for 22 years and had it dialed in pretty good. It was a stout runner. She'd pull to the rev limiter (13,500rpm) in 6th regardless of my wife being on the back with me or not. There were some good long stretches of road in Fla that we'd wind up rolling out top speeds on with our riding group. Wink
