Cockington Forge, Shaldon, Babbacombe Beach, Paignton to Kingswear, then ferry to Dartmouth, and a trip around the river Dart. The Golden Hind, Broadsands Beach, Brixham, Salcombe,
Various locations following Part 1 including Greenway, Agatha Christie second home, and pics of the boat house, where the theme for 'Dead Mans Folly' was used as a murder scene. A beautiful location with the river just off the hill. Fish n chips in Paignton, a bit of Torquay, and a 1950s steam train. A few shots added in the gardens of Cockington Forge, Salcombe, Dartmouth, Kingsbridge, and Slackton Beach added also.
Ilfracombe, Woolacombe, Lynton, Lynmouth, Croyde, Combe Martin.
July 2020......A visit to the village of Bibury in The Cotswolds. Barnsley is a village about three miles out and was really nice also, but you need to find a place for parking. The main Swan hotel over the bridge in Bibury, if you take a left for a few miles, you come to a village called Winson, a tiny village half the size of Crosskeys, with a one way system in place if you go into the cottage area. Thatched roofs and totally picturesque quaint 17th century buildings, I find it hard to put into words to explain, but well worth a look off the beaten track. I think Emperor Hirohito visited in the past, and there are a lot of Japanese tourists, and Far Eastern cultures....around seven coaches a day usually on average visit Bibury. The trout fishery could be worth a visit, £4.50 adult entry fee, and you can fish for trout, or purchase it on the way out, fresh fish smelt beautiful. Great day out, but go first thing, or last thing to avoid the crowds. Arlington Row was a great spot for pictures also, and didn't realise it's the picture on the new passports. Next stop....in search for royalty, Highgrove and Gatcombe Park here we come !!!

Cockington Forge, around the side is a restaurant, bar and huge grounds. The owner had a few Bentleys in the garage, he was around 80yrs old. I asked, how long do it take to keep the grounds perfect, he said, 53 weeks of the year lol. Like olde England, the roof is thatched/woven, like straw. Not good for spiders or fire, but this is proper old school southern England. Apparently, the home is up for sale £1.1 million.

@SEADEVIL: That is super. There is nothing that replaces old time craftsmanship to give you that warm feeling of peace and joy at home. If I hit it rich I’d come over, move in and invite you down for some fat biking. tup

@SEADEVIL: If we sell all our possessions, I’d say we’re a quarter of the way there, haha. Maybe one day tup
