this is POY for me. the mist in the background, the pop of purple wildflowers, the greenery and the rider catches your eyes and is perfectly framed in the top third, mud flying. i just love this shot. really well done

@rudymedea: this one definitely got robbed by the beauty of the Matterhorn.
Yes, the lighting of the other one is great and all, nice view, nice picture... but it simply doesn't compare to this shot.
This shot was made, the other one happened. Seriously, you can't even see the riders head.
