FWIW, that seatpost has way more than 100mm of travel. My guess is more likely 150 or 170mm.

You're totally right! It was a copy/paste mistake from the Trek website. The dropper with 100mm comes in small frame size. The M/L comes with 150mm. Thanks btw.
