haha i love how when red bull make either a huge drop or jump they slap a red bull sign on it and its knows as the red bull drop.. like at rampage with the 60 foot beast.. nice shot!
No way. This is just a snapshot. Poor composition, overexposed, too much contrast. Good timing though. The previous POD was a great photograph. This is just a quick pic of a another big air jump. Done before. Getting old.
It wasn't just a blur. It expressed the movement and chaos of the ride. It was blurred by the movement, yet still in focus (you can see that in the eyes and hands of the rider. It can take skill to capture that. Or just serendipity. This picture is just a snapshot of a guy in the air. No skill in that; only timing.
although there was a lot of hate towards the last POD. '
Apparently the POD is all about the rider, not the photographer.' i thought the whole point of POD was that it showcased really good PHOTOGRAPHS so shurley is'nt it about the photographer?
Big move. Good timing. But poor photo. No offence but the "removed" POD was better. This one has poor composition, is overexposed and too much contrast. Good timing though.
I don't doubt it came out of the camera like that. However a little editing might improve it. Mid-day sun is harsh. It bleaches the colours and causes dark shadows. But when you want to take a picture of something specific, you can't do much about the time of day.
