 Maybe you should paint the top of the post. And maybe that scratch on the fork? Doesn't have to be neat or perfect match, but it would be better than a scrape (which is very visible).

 yeah i know, im def going to paint the seat but my new fork gets in in 2 weeks so its useless

 Yeah, i wouldnt bother painting the fork, but i would paint the seat cause it'll rust. I just filed mine down too.. Its sick now. Almost can be slammed. And btw, looks sick.

 aluminum wont rust but it will oxidize
