whassup my man...! hope you had a good weekend. Love the estates myself and this one was pretty special.
Now...had we not moved up here, I'd probably still be working for Volvo...in which case we would have wound up with a T5 sedan for the missus and not the 528 shown in the photo. That 528 was our first family car. We needed something with more than 2 doors. We were expecting our first child and her daily driver was an '89 Vette.
point of interest...the 850T5 Estate Volvo campaigned in BTCC (which was my fave car in the series BTW) was the ONLY car still running catalytic convertors. Volvo wanted to remain emissions compliant even during competition.

Didn't know that little fact about the T5 having a Cat converter, like that one. I guess nothing much has changed as the Swedes still seem obsessed about low emissions.
The BMW is nearly my favourite estate car of all time except for the Volvo 850 T5 used by our Police force and remember watching them race in the B.T.C.C. back in the day:-
