Il Explain, i had been riding rigid for a bit on my bike but it hurt my wrists to much so i decided to order a nice new Lyric, only problem was that it was back order, so i had 2 months of no fork, my solution was to use my nice little fox 32 until it died miserably, now i was stuck with no fork and a month and a half to ride, so i made some calculations and a fox 40 at 6 inches was only 3 mm taller then a 4 inch dirt jumper (which was what the frame was designed to handle) so i figured might as well ride. in the end it was very interesting to ride as the fork was pure butter but also because when it bottomed out it had a 90 degree head angle. i was only riding park with no large impacts so my frame was not affected.
this dude obviously knows what hes doing if he dropped his 40s as much as he could so as not to damage his frame. shoulda put the story as the pic description though because everyone thinks you did it because you thought it was cool or something. but good work anyways, fuck not riding if theres something you can do to make you able to ride
Seriously... does anyone read some of the other comments before posting? If you had you might look like less of a retard and get the info you are quizzing about without posting ridiculously stupid comments.
ok, every1 that commented negative is a retard, he didnt have a fork and still wanted to ride, so he was smart enough to adjust his 40 to not dmg the frame and boom, he can ride again. wtf is wrong with that?
HEMPDOG! Read the whole fukking post be4 commenting. Go hang out in the woods WITHOUT YOUR BIKE YOU STONER DOUCHEBAG. *Note this is not me hating against people who smoke weed, just this guy above me*
i work at a bike shop and we put my managers 40 on a bmx bike that someone donated to us, but it was winter so we just rode it in the store. Still funny though.
wow I thought this was a picture of someone riding a chopper bike at a park before i clicked the thumbnail, but hey if you gotta ride, you gotta ride! Faving this for sure
alright, i realize that the stancions are slid up the crowns and your standing up on the bike so there is some sag but.. did you lower the fork internally at all? get back to me i am in a heated argument haha
that looks sick and wicked but really no one else has though to do that and if he can ride it fair play to him becuase it looks sick to ride but the head tube might snap little pointer
I agree with 'seanridesdj' your not cool by putting those fox 40's on a dj frame. you just make your self look like an idiot. and btw dobermann frames weigh a tonn and flex when you land a big jump but you wouldnt know anything about landing a big jump because your a pussy, end of story.
i was not trying to be cool, far from it, i wanted to ride end of story. i trust me i know how to land big jumps.
abd by the looks of it your just some stupid little shit disturbing kid, i should not have even wasted my time writing this
Carter shut up and read the comment---> I think that looks sweet too
