PRIMO = WIN & ROCK. Powerbites. They can bend, twist, but no breake befotre dozen of steel cranks. Even 1 broken hollowbites = 50 broken concoined / torrids / profiles / medials / wombolts. However Twombolts should be not so bad + backed up with solid warranty.
I own second pair of Primo. I broke +20 pairs of 3pcs tubular cranks in every possible places. It means 3 weeks - half a year for cranks. Usually 2-3 months. Powerbites still going strong for 2 years. inserts are impossible to strip or move. I screw pedals with 1m long lverage and they dont move. If they move unsrew i go back and theyy crew and pedals uncrew. Then I tight it again and it's perfect. Dont creak at all. I dont use to much grease usually and no sounds from my both pairs. Best ever cranks!
seems like all 3pc cranks snap all the time.. I've seen pictures of almost all models of bmx cranks snapped. has anyone seen like a saint crankset broken? maybe it just has to do with the fact that bmxers/street mtbers abuse their cranks more than they should? Just some thoughts...
uhh i wouldnt say abuse, but they are harder on them. drops for example, most of them have flat landing. thats really hard on teh cranks and yadda yadda, and also bowl riding, jump out of a bowl and land on the flat, very hard.
and also less suspension then free riders and dhers. i think your right about the 3 piece cranks though konaman24, i dont think ive ever seen a set of 2 piece cranks snap. thats why i like wombolts, and any other 2 piece crank set for that matter.
Profiles have been around for a trillion years for a reason right?
