And why I got negative props, eh? I just said that Grossman (bike on the left) needs 24" on the front - there's 24" on the back, so it would make the head angle better. Some people can't think, I guess...
the kapriel has 12" of travel up front and 14" at the back so for big drops it should be great event if I wouldn't personnaly buy one I thing for big drops it could be great
The air shock is supposed to kick in when the coil shock bottoms or is near bottoming. It adds a little extra travel, and also helps with rebound. I heard it was developed for bender so he wouldn't get hucked over the bars on hard landings.
just so all of you know, the blue one is Karpiel Apocalypse with 12.5" of rear tavel and the white one is a Grossman A250 with adjustable travel from 200mm to 250mm. And the Karpiel is a freeride bike built for 12" trvel fork but the Grossman is a dh race bike only meant to have an 8" travel fork. Thats why it looks so whacked
if u look at the white 1s front wheell ur missing spokes and u need a smaller wheell it looks stupid but then again u have monsters on it
but ther both nice looking bikes just white 1 is abit to long and front end high
oh hello JAMES, the karpeil at the back would dick all over any of ur bikes..... actually maybe not the world class kona you have, i mean that...i could only dream of having that
Am I right in thinking two shocks are for when one bottoms out on a big drop the other one kicks in so it makes it like virtually impossible to bottom out?
i dont think its missing spokes , i think its laced up like that , its real strong , you wrap 2 or 3 spokes together then put them into the rim. its like pretzel braiding or something like that? wheel chair guys do it , its strong as. just a biatch to actually do.
there are many ways to lace up wheels, a standard crows foot or just to wire or weld the crosses in the spokes will improve the stength loads, snow flaking is beleaved by some to be, but i dont think so my self, it just looks really good.
Yeah but the bikes are met for DH, thats why it dosn't really matter, if it was for freeride the fork would definetly just snap out of the stear tube but its for dh.. thats why
