 Looks like its a series of rapid prototype powder builds. It's kind of like a big ink jet printer that sprays glue into a super smooth bed of layered power. Layer by layer and pass by pass it's built. After, you can add coloration and then fix it in a sort of superglue bath. Just a note, I've done some rapid prototyping using this powder process and laser paper builds also. I've seen plastic matrix builds and the basic process too. Hope this answers some questions.

 Transition is not making this bike. They found out that it is to pricey. Overall, Nice bike.
