they werent unfair okey like MAGLOR said Greg Minaar still wins world cups on his santa cruz v10 which is true. JPILOT probelly got raped by one of those bikes in a little DH in his home town that one of the Honda riders decided to go to, to try to gain some more fans by showing he still cares for little races to and now hates em ever since.
The early Hondas used a CVT internal transmission that had an infinite gear ratio, but the later ones just used an internal derailleur and cassette to save weight.
i was just told that the "secret technology" inside the gearbox was a sram x9 derailleur and a sram cog, thats all, and thats why they were still so light. could be rumor but i think its hilarious if its true.
odin333 youve just ruined the magic for me now i fort it was harry potter magiced small and bunged him in there then he magiced the right gear at the perfect time using his magic
thats the first gen version of the bike. notice the downtube on this bike and the one you posted. they had one gearbox that was super complex and then one that was basically a derailleur and a cassette in a box.
well no, since about 90% of the comments are positive, and yours is negative, and you got neg propped.. they disagree with you. i love this bike, so i decided to comment... you didnt have to comment on the picture either...
how was it unfair?, Greg Minaar still wins world cups on his Santa cruz v10 so how was using the Honda instead of the v10 or any other DH bike unfair, the Honda is still gorgeous though.
