 looks fuckin stupid,

hey i'm down with any company/rider willing to try to improve our riding, if this doesnt work at least its a step towards hardtail feel with fully forgiveness
  • 8 2
i would like to see how this thing preforms i was thinkin about this before but i dident think it would be all that good
  • 4 5
the weight is way high on the bike what you dont want it probably has a horrible wheel path and feel

 only from cannondale
  • 8 11
Your balls would be ripped off by the shock...OW Great idea though!

this set up would suckk, the seat and pedals and everything would move as the suspension, thus making bar spins t-whips and all that stuffy weeiirrdd....maybe i dunno just my thoughts

 thats so ocwoard

freezeryder how would doing barspins and w-whips be weird when your doing them your not on the ground thus the suspension isent doing anything so it would do anything to mid air tricks
  • 1 2
gonna have to explain what a w-whip is?
  • 0 1
 t-whip
  • 0 0
They should at least put a lock out on the shock, if they don't already have one

stupid, ugly and unuseful... looks sooo gay and why the hell would you need some kind of hard tail/soft tail sh*t or something how you call this thing? anyway it looks dumb and it must be weak

cannondale wants to be different bro. don't hate on them.
  • 2 1
i dont hate cannondale i just hate this prototype...
  • 2 0
yeah i'd rather rock a transition double
  • 1 0
yeah transition double is so nice n badass
  • 2 0
dude i think that is a badass design. why not?? those looking for a short travel dj or dual bike just found something sick! i think its dope. and bet it works sick.
  • 4 3
Im gunna have to agree with pitbullrider. cannonade just makes bikes just to have them. they don't spend the time to make there bikes perfect like santa cruz, transition, and specialized does. Thats y they have different bikes every year.

i can see y they have dun it but i have see things like this in the past ok not a dj frame but that was a long time ago when shoks wernt as good as they are today but will be intresting to see how it gose me thinks it wont do the rider any good espeserly there backs
  • 3 0
That would not be such a good idea on a bike where you needed to sit and pedal, but for his style of riding, I think that is pretty friggin' clever.
  • 9 5
 it looks kinda bad...
  • 15 4
guys, this is actually a really smart idea, I talked to Chase about it at Crankworx. This way you can run as close as a dj hardtail as it gets with a fully. It allows you to have a shorter rear end, run singlespeed with no hassle, be lighter, and have more stand over while still pumping out 3" of travel.
  • 7 2
there are other ways of getting no pedal feedbak, a concentrict design (pivot point around the chain ring axel) will pedal like a hardtail. much nicer looking and probable lighter.
  • 6 1
however you need to lengthen the rear end to compensate for the movement then
  • 4 2
Pedal feedback is not really an issue on a slopestyle bike like this surely?
  • 3 1
That's not the point though, the point is to make it as close to a hardtail as you can while still being a fully, I've already explained that
  • 1 2
I fully agree with you ^^^, I was commenting on what bikemonkey said...
  • 2 1
haha or you can get a kons bass or cowan ds so you can run a neutral gear, or single speed with no tensioner, have really short chainstays, low standover, barely any pedal bob, and 4 inches of travel that you can basically lock out and run as a hardtail until you realllllly fuck up, this is all for innovation, but there are simpler ways of accomplishing what they have done here
  • 3 1
watch the video explaining it you tool
  • 1 3
i did dumbass, im saying this is an innovative idea, but it is just way more complicated than necessary, its not that crazy because you can have the same benefits with a bike that is already available to the public, so stop polluting pinkbike with useless comments that arent necessary
  • 0 2
right, the kona or cove g-spot are already available since the dawn of time. besides, who would like a bike that pivots in the middle? would you like your entire seat post moving forward? and having pedal feedback issues. (they will move up and down with every bump the suspension takes)
  • 2 0
omg thats an awsome design, love everything about it. i want 1, i want 1 Big Grin haha
  • 2 1
i just wonder what it feels like to hove the top tube shorten as you hit stuff, weird, but i would like to try it none the less.
  • 3 4
these guys come up with some of the dumbest looking things to ride. no offense to cannondale, since they are trying to innovate and move ahead in the sport, but this bike has got to be the dumbest thing i've seen in a while. it doesn't even look right once you get close. that's just my opinion.
  • 1 0
if the shock was the other way around i dont think id be so worried about my bollocks
  • 1 0
Trust Cannondale to come up with this Razz Looks pretty sweet though. I wonder how it rides?
  • 2 2
