i was going to get this bike but i found the stanchion were just a bit to skinny for my licking and it comes with sigle tracks. but other than that its a nice bike man
all i was saying was that i dont like the look of stanchions that thin. some people disagree with me you for example and a lot more people. im sure they are a great fork and what i was saying was not that there are most likely to snap or something like that. its just the look i have an issue with. so i stick with marzocchi and fox forks. i also know that look is not everything, its the function or how you use them.
Thats the stupidest thing i have ever heard. Kid, there is a reason why many professionals use this fork, ie. Sam hill, Santa Cruz Syndicate team, and many many others. I myself a WC, and is the sickest fork. If you can show me a picture of a snapped boxxer i would be suprised cause they're bulit to last. Boxxer absolulty kills a 888Wc or any of them. Big stantions don't mean a fork is stronger.
i dont use 888's anymore. show me a picture of a snapped fox 40. and the reason for posting them is that you said you would be suprised to see a snapped boxxer so i'm guessing you just shat bricks. and yes i know thick stanchion does not mean they are stronger but i also never said that thin ones are most likely to break.
www.pinkbike.com/photo/536606 Theres also a few others, but getting to the point 888 are shit race forks, 40's and Boxxers on the other hand are great race forks. 40's, boxxers and marzocchi are all capable of sending it but you get a lot more bang for the buck with boxxers and also 40's.
yo can i get your pedal of you? how much for just the left 1? im a little short on cash but i can trade a cat if you like them? its name is stripey and its a hella nice pussy
