Aye looks f*cking nice but cut the steering tube down, were can i get the frame from and what are those forks? pm me back on my profile many thanks arron
Do the threads on lhd cranks thread the opposite way that way the sprocket can be on the other side but the pedals the 'correct way'? I thought this was only done/worked with bmx frames.
no, the dude was, obviously, too lasy to put his sproket on the other side... if you look at the right ( left) cranks, there's a socket for the pinch bolt...
lhds cranks only have a hole on the other crankarm... that's it
Hmmm... ok... still slightly confused, what is installed on the bike above? Normal cranks installed on opposide sides? Did owner intend to install the sprocket on other side?
yeah ummm hi, when you take the cranks apart theres no way of telling which is the left arm and which is the right, and clearly im too lazy to try and work it out by looking at the pedal threads! but yeah thats probably the reason, but soon after i thought about swapping them around and then realised that the sprocket bolt holes on the other arm had no thread?? so i went to tap them and broke the tap off inside rendering that arm useless. brilliant. oh btw i snapped them doing a 360 anyway.
what is the advantage (if there is one) of putting the headset spacer ABOVE the stem?
is it so your bars or lower or what?
thanks
