Of course I know what it means. I just wanna see if you actually know what you are talking about, which apparently you don't. Your answer doesn't even begin to describe what Socialism is. That's just one little idea that some socialists agree on. Obama does want upper class citizens to pay higher taxes than poor people, but right now we are in a recession and the level of poverty in the US has gotten to the point where it will take that kind of drastic action to start moving us in the right direction.

Both of those are republican ideas. I also have massive respect for McCain and I think he would've also been a decent president. The only reason I think it would be bad for him to be in office is that there is a very good chance that he doesn't have 8 years left to live and Sarah Palin would be an even worse president than bush. I'm just saying that even if there was only a 10% chance of McCain dying in the next 8 years, that would be too big of a risk, because Sarah Palin's presidency would be disasterous. Ya that fact that so many people believe in creationism is kinda sad. Evolution isn't just a theory, it's a proven fact. Some organisms reproduce so fast biologists have actually been able to "observe" evolution. I promise you the earth was not created in 7 days.
