Yo Seraph is the Thomson stem lighter than the Hope Stems?I need a fancy scale like yours, ever since my Amp i've become a bit of a Weight Weenie!

I have a feeling that the Hope is a bit lighter, but if you want a really nice light stem, get the Point 1 Racing Split Second with the ti bolt upgrade. My 70mm version weighs 136g.

Wow thats crazy.I should just get the ti bolt kit for every bolt on my bike now that would be sweet.Oh and ya the Hope 40mm stem is super light,it's only 140 grams so it beats the Thomson by 40 grams. If your 70mm version is that light the 40mm stem would be even less...thats almost too light!

What a joke. My BONTRAGER stem came in a 190g. I have a picture if you want to see. But that's a pretty pimpin stem.

Doesn't matter how much or how little any other stems weigh, the Thomson will always be the nicest-looking stems to me.

I'm 100% with you on that one. I was juste really suprise to see the weight on mine..

Yeah that is quite surprising. What really surprises me is the Bontrager Rhythm Pro wheelset is about 1600 grams with a 20mm front axle, 150 grams lighter than the DT Swiss EX1750 wheelset, also at almost half the cost.
