Believe you me: I've got the same bike as yours. My setup is a little bit different though, but the bike is the same fricking one. My bike came with those rims as stock setup too when I bought it in the shop, but now I've got new DT rims and other bob and pieces put in. I can see you are riding it in your clamps, and so did I at first, but now I've got flats fitted instead. As my chain kept poping out down the trails, at some point I decided to buy a chainguide and a bashguard, but in the end I just bought the latter and it is working fine now, so I think I'm gonna leave it as it is. My cockpit is also wider than yours (711mm) but the stem is pretty much about the same lenght. My excuse is those bars just came so hard on my hands that I used to get pins and needles after very long rides. Steering and overall performance is better too, so I did not get it wrong in the end and it only weighs in at 33lbs on a scale. Do you like your bike as it is now?

Yes, I really do like it just as it is right out of the box. Smile Upgrades may come later. After all, i don't really even need anything more than this. Maybe a DH racing bike but if i lived in an area that raced consistently i might invest in it. This does everything I want it to and a little more. As for the clamps, I don't. I have the azonic pedal clips with removable pegs. All lock-tite'd of course. Razz Have never ridden with clipless. Do just fine without. ^^
