When I was through there the time before last, some guy to do with the council made me get off and push, told me that I couldn't cycle through. It's okay I suppose as long as you don't get caught....
You just need to build on the timing of your hop so you can get a quicker burst of energy making you go higher. Look at Ryan leech surely the gearing isn't what gets him 4-5 feet off the ground
no, i have 18-12 gearing on 26inch wheels, i should be running 18-15 so im going forward instead of up atm. 18-12 is for 20inch trials. i can bunnyhop higher than that if i want to. dnt correct me on a topic im competant in
Ok I was thinking on the difference between my little bros old and new trials bikes the old one was too low geared to do anything and the new one is much more responsive, I suppose it's up to you what gearing you use:P
for trials you need to be looking at a gearing value of 30 (front teeth / Rear teeth x wheel size) currently my set up is something rediculars like 42, which is nearing street bike values. 18-15 is 31.2 for 26" wheels i belive.
your bro's old bike probably had shorter crank arms tbh, which is why it would feel a little worse.
what im telling you, from the fact that i did it and know what happened, is that tire grip has absolutly nothing to do with it when its not being held for an extended period of time, which this wasnt
