OMG man, you have a dob and Thunderbird and a majesty , all my favorite frames, and there are all soooo sick, how do you have so many AMAZING bikes!, and which one has the best geo the t-bird or the Majesty ?
Yeah, but the Dob got looted for parts and so did the T-Bird. They will all be rolling some day when they don't have to share parts. I am still changing shit around on the Vajesty, but as far as my favorite Geo, I may have to say the T-bird for now (but we'll see once I have ridden the Vajesty for a bit). Good question, but I don't have a complete answer yet.
cause my pargyle has broken lowers and could use some sprucing up, I personally love the feel of them and would prefer it over rigid, so let me know what kind of price your thinkin... we could deal
The offer as it stands now is $100. It it a lowered 318 with shaved mounts that was re-painted black. Looks hawt. Has a blown seal for sure. If you feel like bettering that, its yours.
That is 3.4" rise, they are quite tall. I am about to put on a slightly shorter (and lighter) stem. I am still trying to dial this bike the way I want it, but I love it so far!! Thanks Leon!!
Of course you have more faves, you have the color scheme that everyone wants at the moment. I won't lie, I would rock that shit. Your bike is sick dude. Mine looks like poo, but it rides great. For a stealth bike, this has a lot of views. Your bike is a guaranteed click because it stands out even as a thumbnail. Word.
I am changing the stem in a few minutes (the DLD is too tall), the Fox will be painted this week sometime, it's proper wheels will be here in June, etc......
haha, it wouldn't be so bad if you put it on a truck or in the back of a car and took it to a skate park and rode it... but I would never ride brakeless on the street... I almost die WITH brakes, so without them I'd be toast haha.
XD, damn pedestrians. Always getting in the way. Probably the biggest close call I've had lately was coming inches away from moto-whipping a cop in the chest haha. I was hucking off a set of stairs on my FR rig and he walked out of nowhere. >.
My first day brakeless, I hit a drunk chick who stumbled in front of me last second. It f*cked us both up pretty badly, then I called her a "stupid drunken c*nt" and rode away. I don't feel bad about it because I gave her plenty of room and it was completely her fault. (Even with brakes I would have destroyed her!!). I almost broke my hand and she at the very least got a nasty concussion and a really f*cked up shoulder. And here I am months later, still riding brakeless (and loving it!!). In all fairness the Dob still has brakes for when I need a bike that stops.
I don't have the heart to low-ball you. I also don't think it would be right for me to take Molly from you. When your bike has a name, that is your bike and shouldn't belong to others.
Not a super hardcore fan, but they got some good tunes. Ah yea ok, knew it didn't sound right haha.
yea true... I'm keeping the big bike for sure. I use it the most. Unfortunately the one I'm most ATTACHED to is the one that's not used as much, not worth as much, and was bought mostly for a spare/commuter bike. =( I'd probably use it more if I could manage to find some damn 3" rise bars anywhere in this so called 'mtb-mecca'... not a single shop I have been to has any, or would order me in some.
you're telling me... I may just break down and mail Dob some more cash to send me some. I haven't heard anything at all about the Dob bars though... =/
Which bike show? all Vancouver had was "the BC outdoor and adventure show" which barely had any bike companies this year... we got specialized, fireeye, scott, some local bike shops and guides, and then adidas. =/
Hopefully if I clear up this debt and everything... I'll be able to go ride les gets and morzine this summer, would be truly epic going from riding whistler, straight onto a plane, and riding that scene. *wipes drool away*
Too heavy until I get the proper fork and rims on. I weighed it the other day, and I don't know if I want to share that number. It's light, but I'm not happy yet. When it has it's proper parts I will post up a scale shot.
Correct and it's poo. I realized why I like my Pike more. The floodgate is key. The I can't set the Argyle stiff enough for my liking. The compression set as hard as it goes and the bottom half of the travel is too mushy. It's just awful. To anyone thinking of buying a 318, save your money. I am happy this was used, if I bought it new I would be pissed lol.
