yeh, how lame! lol health and safety shit, incase you ram your bars through your stomach
  • 1 0
 ah yea makes sense
  • 1 2
 Wrong.
  • 3 1
how is having bar ends going to make your bars not go through your stomach? it may make it so you dont take a core sample of your large intestine, but if your handlebars are going to go through your stomach with lock-on rings, they are going to go through your stomach with bar ends.

this has got to be a defect. the cobra headtube is one of the strongest out there.

true but any fork over 160mm voids warranty and here is the result of running 180mm forks ive got the same setup tho and no problems
  • 1 0
if it is the stock fork (which i think it is) it is 160mm. but i know that the SXt goes great with 180mm. but i thought it all depended on ATC? im considering a 888 for mine which has the same ATC as a totem and a 66.
  • 1 0
no man the fork is 66 180>>>>

learn from this experience - don't buy another Special-Ed bike...
  • 2 0
No, you = wrong. Spec = Great replacement warranty.
  • 1 2
they need it when building such shitty bikes...
  • 2 0
Trust me, their bikes ain't shitty, far from it. Better than Trek and they also lead in many cycling events.
  • 1 1
What makes you assume that Specialized are better than Trek - or any other manufacturer for that matter?
  • 1 0
I have seen fewer Specialized bikes cracked than Trek. Look at Treks Session 88, how many pics are there of one snapped or dented, now find me 10 pics of broken Demos. Remember, Demos have been around longer than the Newer Session 88's ( 09+ )
  • 1 0
what YOU have seen in the world is very small my friend. We're not talking about Session 88s or Demos - we're talking about the broke SX Trail above
