 They're sick! Super strong and light! I'm not easy on them either. I built them myself (without a truing stand) and I've never had to get them trued or anything. I'd say they're as strong as Atomlab Pimp rims and they're even lighter than Pimplites (which I've warped).

 They're amazing! Best wheels I've ever had by far. I was a bit nervous at first cause they're so light but they're super strong. I landed 270 a few times with them and sideways on whips and stuff and they never bend. I've never had to true them, and I built them myself too.

 Purple is made with red. Technically purple would be a shade of red.. and when you have differen't shades of the same colour I find it looks bad. Either way, you have your oppinion and I have mine. I think blue and yellow look good together and I purposely was looking for a yellow frame and blue wheels when I built this bike.

 Mmm not really. Different shades have the same hue but a different amount of saturation. (if you want to be technical). Purple is purle. However, pink could be a shade of red, as could maroon. (although pink may have a certain amount of purple and maroon could have some brown in it.....) But anyway - are we really going to have an arguement about colour specifications on a cycling website!? lol

Perhaps purple argyles would have worked, but alongside a few other brightly coloured parts. You might as well go all out if you want clashing colours. I personally think red wheels would have been nicer, but it's your bike!
