ok you go ride it you dumb ass and it will just brake in your face looks shit anyways the seat post is on the wrong way te frame is like what 15 or 18" your chain is bollacks you ride with a chain tensioner wtf cable brake shit seat so dont say shit about mupet get your bike sorted first you thick f*ck
aarroonn ur a nut job, it wont snap, kona just say it works well with up to 130mm, they dont say it will snap do they, and how the fuck will some soft suspension traval snap solid metal, dumbass!
so it works well with something the company say do not do? sounds like a good idea.......
and by the way if you didnt already no kona's are already well known for snapping even if there designed for triples ect.
by putting triples on your channging the head angle and putting the forks at an agle that is like puting a crowbar in a crate or something. When you apply a fair amount of force its gonna pop that crate open or your bike in this case so if you hit something hard/case that crowbar is just gonna do what is ment do!
wat so ur saying a bit of soft travel is going to snap a solid metal headtube, well wat a load of shit, u see more ALOT more normal bikes snap there frames thn hardtails with triples, and kona do not say, no bike company say that there frames will snap!!!
u obvisoulsy have no clue about geometry. "and kona do not say, no bike company say that there frames will snap!!!" well no shit do u really think a company tryin 2 sell a bike will say it will snap. konas have the worsed reputation ever do u ever wonder y? oh and btw it isnt a "solid metal headtube" u noob
OMFG!! people! listen to yourselves!! i had an stp with fox 40s on it for 2 years and i went over the handlebars quite a few times and one day , u know wat happened?
f*ck all!!they wont snap ! you people jus dont know a good bike wen u see one!! bmxboiz, nice bike m8!!
Harris plenty of people ride from experance or other peoples mastakes and alot of pro riders wont ride a 15 - 18" hardtail with dual crown just simply the fact that THEY SNAP
and just cos he has the travel on slow rebound or soft dosnt mean that the head tubing couldnt snap its the inpact of the forks which reli on the frames strength and dual crowns on a dj frame dont mix and if you look carfully at what Kona state they state that a single dj frame can take up to 130mm single crown of travel so get your facts right first mate i just looked it up and have a manual from my local bike shop on kona Shreds, Kona stinkys, Stabbs, and more
i have the 06 version of this frame and harris 93 and calviper are right these frames aren't supposed to be run with a fork of over 130 mm never mind with a dual crown fork. I have seen people try and do this with dj frames before and yes my friend the frames snap
what the hell is it with people with hardtails and triples!!!!!!!!!!! 1 it spoils the looks of the bike, 2 puts alot more stress on the headtube leading to stress fractures to the headtube and the it will snap
