 can someone explains that?

It's the amount of shock that is compressed for wich inch of rear wheel travel. In car engineering it's called Instalation Ratio, in bike terms is the opposite of the leverage ratio applied on the shock. In leigh terms, because the curve ramps up means that the shock is easier to compress at the beggining and becomes increasingly harder to compress through shock travel to avoid bottoming.

i think rate it the speed or force that is applied to/of the shock and at this rate, you get X amount of travel. just a thought

you do need a program to figure this out, correct? there isnt any easy way to figure this out by hand for a homemade frame?

Buy linkage software! it's 25$ and you can do this and much more.

What are the units on the Y axis, is it force, speed, or compression of the shock?
