my dad owns plenty of chevy trucks and owned probly more than fifteen and he knows from experience that they dont rot and fords have bad trannys

No man. Fords are gaY. You can never find one thAt you dont have problems with. I have a buddy that went out bought a brand new one, he was driving down the highway and it blew oil everywheres. Completely made a mess of the engine and nearly destroyed it.
