This is most likely the most insane curved wall ride on the planet. The area where you drop off of this thing hovers around 15 to 17 feet. To flat concrete. Seconds after this photo was taken, the landing broke a brand new set of crank arms. This is just bad ass!
im annoyed that the guy doesnt have a helmet on because this should be POD! i can imagine his wrists suffered because looks like he didnt come down tail heavy to soften the landing!
dude i pass by that all the time...right of of CPH right....didnt even think of that as a sick and nasty wall ride....might have to try it out, i just think id have to do it with a lid though =/
LOL, there have been plenty of POD's without safety gear on.
It really doesn't matter if it does or not though.
I think it's a pretty epic shot, and is already turning up on websites everywhere!
When the weather is shitty on the trails, we hit STA MonicA to ride the boardwalk urban style. Pass this bridge every time- great to see some more LA photos!
It's a different bridge man. The one from the video mentioned curves left and has no runway to hit it. That's why he only rides the support beam instead. The one in this photo turns right and has a big open parking lot all around it. It's not the same bridge.
