Hi, can you tell me something about this brakes? Are they good, do you like it or you think code/saint or others are better? I want to buy cr's but I don't know alot about it... thanks.

The CR's are very good. Stopping power is as much as I need, even for DH. My only complaint is that the carbon levers are not very strong. I would go with Aluminum levers instead. If you are looking at Avid, I would say the CR's are the best in the lineup, for everything from XC to DH. I never feel like I need more power (like the Code's). However, I do think the new Saint brakes are better, although they are more expensive.

In my opinion saint is the best brake what i ever used, but it's more expensive than cr... I sold my juicy 5 beacuse they're to weak for me (~80kg)and now I wanted to buy something with 4 pistons, but I heard some good opinion about elixir. I think I'll take it, thanks for help and I wish you happy new year.
