I was going to say no POD because of the clarity, but honestly this deserves to be shown. This is the definition of OLD SCHOOL!!! So sick!

The cameras didn't work that well back in the 1800's. Especially for action shots.

I know JonFaure I was simply saying that when I first looked at it I thought no POD, but the sheer age of the photo alone will get it POD no doubt!!! Your Great Great Grandpa was a pioneer dude!!!

if its fake then why is there a horse and carriage in the background?
  • 14 4
doesnt prove anythig tho. could be a representation of 1800's... could be a farm...

  • 4 0
its hard to say its real or not cuz the jeans and helmet look 21st centruy, but the houses, horse and carrage, and the bike look old?
  • 1 0
that's bad ass skills! once i was trying to ride that kind of bike (my boss bough it like 30 years ago).....it was really hard to control it
  • 2 1
lets face it, there was no such thing as DJ's in the 1800's. Cool pic though
  • 2 0
Mate nice pic Big Grin but if you look really close at the rider and front wheel it looks abit like its been photoshopped in or it just could be blurry , just a thought , nice pic though
  • 2 0
check the guy in the middle, he's holding his handle bars like on a ''normal'' bike.
  • 3 0
LMAO come on guys. Do you think they had skate helmets back then? LOL. Nice chop tho! Smile
  • 2 0
not just the helmets, but the shoes, the skinnys/maybe, the shaddows of the other bikes, the poorly photoshoped buildings in the back ground, its not really hard to tell
  • 2 0
its fake, look at the shadows, you can tell by the handel bars in them, and if they were on the real big bikes you would see the shadow of the wheels, and the shadows would be way bigger.

Ok Ok Ok Here is the real scoop. This was something my son did when he was 12. I had taken a photo of him at our local djs. He photoshopped out his bike and replaced it with this one. He also took out the condos in the background and put old houses, took out my truck that was parked on the road and put in a horse and carrage. He also took out the shadow of me holding up a camera.
  • 1 0
dude, you could have had nearly everyone going for ages on that
  • 2 1
Yeah, that was fun. I can't believe someone actually believed it. ha ha
  • 7 1
You guys are so dumb....the background is photoshopped in and so is the bike...Its an Obvious joke..and a good one at that.....I like the picture its kickin it "oldschool" lol
  • 4 1
My great great grandpappy would be insulted by your remarks!!! He's rolling over in his grave as we speak! He was a true legend in his time!
  • 1 2
StevoFS, You should be ashamed of yourself... questioning the authenticity as well as the greatness of the late pioneer Andre Faure
  • 2 2
I know I am....I am....I showed this photo to one of those Pro PS guys and he said it was 100% real...I feel bad now =[
  • 2 0

  • 2 0
Wow, that really is amazing. Definitely POD.
  • 1 0
 Jon,
This is cool. Your Great Great Grand Pappy was sponsored by Clark Cycle Co. right?
  • 3 0
Oh, so you have heard of the great Andre Faure. He is a legend and was way advanced in the sport of dirt jumping for his time. I'm pretty sure he invented the "ET" and that's where Steven Spielberg got the idea for the movie.
  • 1 0
I knew it!!! Why did I not put two and two together sooner? My bad Jon... I should be ashamed of myself, but I am not.
  • 1 0
this is sick but seriously they didnt have helmets or skinny jeans at this time

I think the age of the houses behind him indicates the real time.
  • 2 3
 well spotted Big Grin
  • 1 2
Did you notice the horse and carrage in the background?
  • 2 1
also take note that the shadow of the on lookers has a bell on their handlebars. how many DJers you know still rock a ringer?
  • 8 0
Ha Ha! What's funny is I actually have a bell on my bike as a joke! I use it at the skate park when it gets crowded. I also use it at the djs. What's better than a sick table? ....A sick table with a "dinggggg" in the middle of it! lol
  • 3 0
safety first right? hahaha that is awesome
  • 1 0
this is shopped i think, but is still an intriguing picture - The bikes in the shadows have riser bars, these weren't around then - penny farthings were also fixed gear, so jumping them would've been pretty damned hard!
  • 2 0
i had no doubt it was shopped
  • 1 0
its not hard to tell its fake, exaple- the shaddows of the other bikers, the bucket helmets, and its just to dam easy to tell that the buildings are edited!!!.
