ok because right now i have the AOpen SoundSphere multimedia setup and i find it doesnt really give me what i want. and how long do you think it would take to ship to canada?
Do you want something more 'fun' to listen to or something that just gives you the music as it is, like the Behringers? You need good bass, anything else? If you mean shipping the Behringers to Canada, there should be some music stores with them already. It's a German brand, so if you had to ship them over it would take about a week or so.
well i like bass, because i listen to alot of hip-hip and heavy metal. and with the heavy metal i like to hear the bass hits on the drums but i also would like to hear the lyrics at the same time, so not too drowned out
I see...I think the Behringers would do a nice job of that because the bass is refined enough not to drown everything else out. You might want to try them out somewhere first though, because you wouldn't want to buy them and then find out you don't like the sound...
Just started using my dads B&W matrix 804 speakers and I know what your saying about listening to the computer systems, its almost painful to listen to the computer!
Haha so true...
I cringe when I have to listen to computer speakers now, especially those fake 5.1 systems. I got rid of my PC speakers about 9 months ago now, my little brother was very happy to get them...
Those are Behringer MS40 Studio Monitors. Pretty good entry-level speakers for studio monitoring and they make great computer speakers (you can't even compare things like Logitech, Creative, etc.).
If you're looking for good bass these probably aren't for you because a computer 2.1 system with a sub will give you more (like the Dell 5.1 speakers in silver in the pic, with the sub to the right of the chair). The point of these speakers is to get a very balanced sound, not to 'colour' the sound in any way. However you can turn the bass up and the bass that comes out of these is really tight and punchy, better sounding that a computer sub. Basically quality over quantity. They cost about $200 US.
