Sounds as reasonable as its going to get, I can see the creative bending work you put in to them now, it looks good, I'm going to source some fenders, and work it out this weekend, the rain is coming soon. Thanks,
I'm fortunate to have no hills in my commute, though I took it on an extended ride the other night and gave my calves a good work out. I might keep this bike for the winter.
I kit bashed a set of road fenders with a set of MTB fenders. I used the brackets/stays from a set of seat stay/fork mount road fenders, removed the fender part and took the fenders from the MTB set and presto, with a little creative bending and adjusting. As long as you stick with the same brand for the fenders you shouldn't have issues with parts compatibility. I suggest you use Lambert select or evo brand fenders as they tend to be the cheapest price but still good quality.
