the fat tubing makes it like a carbon frame

I just ordered one, according to Yeti only available in the Black, in 3 sizes, tapered headtube, 69.5 headangle and RRP£699
  • 2 2
How much does it weigh? For £699 I would expect loads of weight loss from the previous frame :O.

Only comes in black, that's just silly.

Almost as silly as you, James.

NO its good, i rode the '09 Yeti and its the only DJ bike that i can truly say i loved the most. I got the 2010 one at a V.V. Good price. It weighs the same as last years, but has adjustable dropouts, tapered headtube and is a lot lot stronger

 Awesome. Just seems incredibly overpriced.

Yeah, i wouldnt be getting it if i wasnt getting a good discount

it isnt just weight difference that should define a good frame guys, yeti spent AGES designing and testing the geo, the tube shape size and thickness the adjustable/replaceable dropouts, the headtube and they have refined it to this, weight isnt everything if the geo sucks and the yeti rides amazingly well and i have ridden lighter bikes that feel slugish in comparison, so bare that in mind when your looking at price and weight of frames.

i want!!!! reminds me of the Ibis Tranny
  • 1 1
 No horizontal dropouts?
  • 1 0
 Adjustable vertical dropouts
  • 3 0
Why would you need horizontal dropouts on a 4x frame?
  • 3 2
Cause once again Yeti fails and calls their 4x hardtail frame, the Yeti DJ. Confuses groms
  • 1 1
its the same as Intense then calling their SS, just that, when it is more like a full on FR bike
  • 1 1
It's more of a park bike imo.
  • 1 1
the yeti dj can be used for dj thats why its called that, doesnt mean it cant be used for 4x and doesnt mean it has to be called 4x, you can get horizontal dropouts for it for 70 bucks anyway . . .
