I have been on a bottle rocket for 3 years and at first glance it look pretty darn close. but the detail on this bike is very different. The geo should speek for its self, just like any other bike in this new style of bikes.somthing like a DJ hardtail to get the job done right there needs to be some simple standards in the bike to perform correctly.
This design is so played. There have always been single pivot frames with the shock mounted near the ST on the TT. At least Commencal slapped the pivot around the BB.
...with a tensioner. You can't run a Bottle Rocket without a chain tensioner of any kind. But, with a tensioner, you can single speed absolutely every bike ever made ever. So that's nothing to brag about.
You're right....WITH a tensioner, and I'm not bragging. I rode a dirtbag for a couple years (single speed a few times times on accident....which you CAN do w/o tensioner) and realized how much smack everyone talked about THAT bike. Well, I'll tell you what......I did a lot of moves that other people on super bling bikes wouldn't and never complained about NOT being able to do a move b/c of the BIKE I was riding. Grab a bike and go send it. With or without your preference of tensioners......
In the same vain.....most bike designs have been mimiced a number of times by various bike companies. New designs are a rarity, but cool smaller companies like Evil are still doing it......
