that is clearly photoshopped cause the wheel and his leg are just like part of i dont know what. i dont know what you were trying to achieve with the photoshop but it just look un orthodox. it is just not cool
Its because people don't know the difference between normality and a photo in which a flash has been used. Flash photography often show up looking sort of super-real, and therefore to idiots, photoshopped. The rest appears blurred because the flash light freezes the action. Basic ignorance of photography. Robbo, don't insult talented people with your bulls**t.
Redrook's right, if you have a longish shutter speed and a flash pointing at the rider, the rider will appear crisp from when the flash has gone off as more light is taken in from the rider, everything else moving turns in to a blur. Its a sick picture and fair play to both photographer and rider!!! if you cannot appreciate other peoples skills and photography and riding, dont bother commenting!
HELLO!? IT'S NOT PHOTOSHOPPED! gawdd. everyday there is an idiot that just puts "shopped" as a comment. even if it was shopped, it's badass. so appreciate it and stop trying to be clever.
possibly but the riders crisp and the roost is blurred soo doubt it! and thats not natural lighting making those shadows so has to be a flash! wither way its a mint picture!!!
I know this is old, but it really IS photoshopped. I've worked in the professional photography industry and have used photoshop professionally for nearly 15 years. The roost area clearly has a 'spherize' filter applied. Its why there is a distinct circle in that area, why the stick has a weird warp and bulge to it, why the foliage is blurred under the camera guy... etc. If you know photoshop, its clear as day. And no, its not some sort of trick photography. Its otherwise a good shot.
I dont see what people see in this pic, I think photoshop should only be used to enhance the image and not alter it. Plus this guy hasn't hit the line of berm, poor POD in my eyes.
not for me...the rider isnt properly expose, actually the cameraguy behind him looks like the main subject as he's perfectly lite.I think it coulnd t have been great shot with a different angle ( without the guy behind and more of wehre the rider is coming from ) and I dont like the OVER post processing work either...
look at that gimungus rock falling down the top left lol strange lol its on the track...
is that like the obstical course of the track...
fly down the track bunnyhop the rock and hit the burm on the wrong angle..
sick photo
Nice well shot pic but anyone can lock up the rear wheel coming around a turn. Would have been a much better picture had he been railing the berm and not destroying the inside of the turn. Obviously done for effect for the cameraman- LAME-O.
yeah all is hack haha i'm reading all comments and i don't know i was change saturation, contrast, bridgest and i used sharpen mask. that was on czantoria mountain and i have more photos from this track and from the same place like this one. but who cares...
it's shopped in the way all photos are shopped, contrast and brightness and such. the same things photographers used filters and blockers to do before digital. it's not shopped like cut and paste, so nobody say that.
why would people give -props for saying " I love those pictures you can see the fork compress"? Idk.. it strikes me as odd that he would have -46 props for sayi ng that..
Something does not look right with this pic. Why would anyone cut out of the berm and into the rough? The exit must be the reason for making such a turn, still something looks wrong here.
def a nice picture. ill probably get yelled at but i beleive that photshoping is just part of photography and it all is does is merly alow a person to be more creative and enhance an already well taken photo
HELLO! JUST TO MAKE IT CLEAR... this shot IS IN FAACT PHOTOSHOPPED. SORRY. If you dont believe me look at the plants between the camera guys legs. Its kinda obvious. Still a great edit tho. And dont argue with me. Ive been a photographer my whole life.
i love the pic and looks liek he came into that fast but from my point of view the dust does look a little edited just with smudge or blur but still looks siick
i think its not photoshopped. its easy to set in your camera different picture style(e.g.contrast, sharpness, color tone) and it makes picture look like this just from cam.. for example heres pic i made mana69.rajce.idnes.cz/CP_Rokytnice_nad_Jizerou_13.9.09/#IMG_9849.JPG its not the same setup so it may looks different... but, theres no photoshop, thats what i wanted to say...
yes.. the edge of the dust cloud has definitely been smeared/blurred/moved around.. i think the pic is def real, just the modified dust kind of ruins it for me as who knows what else was done... and dont go telling me that dust hasnt been touched cos it has(the smeared ferns and leg on edge of dust give that away..)
yeah didnt want to say much coz you know what the idiots are like on here. Whenever u say photoshop they neg prop you even though it blantently has been, but hey thats pinkbikes fault for letting small annoying kids join who know fuck all lol
yea photoshopping is easy! thats why you get offers on PB from little kids wanting to color your bike or add effects to a picture for you using photoshop... most credited professional photographers pride themselves on not "photoshopping" their work, they prefer them as real as possible...it shows your true skill. nice photo (awesome capture of the moment), but don't shop images, it makes them less appealing.
"most credited professional photographers pride themselves on not "photoshopping" their work" Where do you get that from? Having worked with professional photographers I can tell you most photographers photoshop their work to some degree. (Be it compositing backgrounds, changing colours, contrast, sharpening). Theres not a lot in photoshop that couldn't already be done in the darkroom. The ends justify the means.
Yeah, most professional digital photographers shoot in RAW format, so that they have complete hands-on control of the image processing; which is done using programs like photoshop.
yes, everyone photoshops... even the top dogs. It's part of the photography process.
There's no way a pro is going to shoot in RAW and not do some kind of post-processing.
He can do what he wants with his own photo. Judge him when you do better. To me the vortex is overkill, but then again, i've seen lots of berm-railing pics without vortexs
