i think i know were you got these from. rutlandcycling? on good olde ebay? im considerind getting some for my usb and lowering them to 80mm so they should be like super stiff. but my main concern is weather they would hold up on the streets
  • 1 0
Yep rutlandcycles off Ebay. I think they would hold up just fine for street, I'd use them.

I dont serpose next time you taking pictures of this beast, could you take some of the fork. like the Maxle and crowns? Thanks.
  • 1 0
Yeah sure. The Maxle is plenty strong enough and so is the crown.

this bike is fucking amazing, i hate you sooooo much haha, jk but man props on building such a rad bike, its like a piece of art u could put in a museium lol

Revos are plenty strong. I run a Reba Team Dual Air 20mm lowered to 100mm on my Blur 4X.

how do these frames ride? as i really want a short travel bike, handle dh well?
  • 1 0
They are amazing to jump. And the suspension platform does ride well on DH, but I don't think it's worth having a frame like this is DH is want you wan to be doing on it.
  • 1 0
yeah wicked, didnt make my self clear atall there Razz i dont want to ride dh atall but would like to ride it in the woods to do everything. So seems pretty good frame, what travel are you running up front?
  • 1 0
Ah right well it's an amazing all rounder bike. I'm running 100mm up front and the fork's a2c is about 475mm which is perfect.
  • 1 0
475mm ehhh, hmm if i get a pair of these for capital and lower them to 40mm they would be about right. cheers for the info!!

Do you ever lose the chain without a guide? Also have you got a full spec list?
  • 1 0
I've never lost the chain, the tensioner does the job fine.
  • 1 0
I love it, it's really easy to throw about and really light. I got mine from freeborn.co.uk
  • 1 0
 YES Drool anything else chaning?
  • 1 0
Going to get a lighter chain, just got this one as a temp. And maybe an Avid Elixer CR as the lever on this Shimano is quite big and almost hits the top tube.

ooh nice,im spending 400 on some forks i want 80- 100mm travel sorry its random but you'd probaly know Wink .
  • 1 0
I got these for £350 brand new and lowered them, that's about £175 off the retail price.
  • 1 0
how much travel are they stock?
  • 1 0
150mm and they come with 2 20mm spacers in the box, so you'll still have to get a All Travel Spacer kit to get it lower. It's also very easy to lower, I thought it would be pretty hard but it wasn't.
  • 1 0
oh so did you lower them ur self....coz i am l@@king at getting them and wanted to know if they can be lower and how much it costs to.
  • 1 0
Why the revelation? Super sick build btw.
  • 1 0
Because its light like an XC race fork, and still strong like an All Mountain fork - Im guessing. Ive experimented with 80mm reba SL forks before - very light and nicely stiff, but not as strong as revelations.
  • 1 0
Yep pretty much ahah. It only weighs 3.85lbs and is actually really stiff, as I've got a load of extra lapping stanchions and the fork has the power bulges, 20mm axle and a fairly beefy looking crown.
  • 1 0
Sweet bike dude, how does it handle the trails and big jumps?
  • 1 0
what tensioner is this? i heard you were extremely satisfied with it?
  • 1 0
It's a Yess ETR-D, best tensioner in my opinion.
  • 1 0
 damn nice clean bike!! props!
  • 1 0
they aren't gears at the back mate, it's a chain tensioner
  • 1 0
Yeh i know bud, but i mean does he still loose the chain even with the tensioner, as i'm looking to run a similar set up and want to know how reliable it is.

Dropped that last 0.06 pounds yet?
  • 1 0
Not yet, I haven't really been bothered to spend anymore money on it right now, but I will do in the new year.
  • 1 0
I can feel that. Ride it some (not to say you haven't already), bet you lose it in the tires. You only need to drop ~25g.
  • 1 0
The weather has sucked so far this winter, it's rained a least once everyday since like octobar, so my trails are always soaking, it's so hard to get out and ride at the moment which sucks, plus I'm at collage for most of the day and it's dark when I get home.

I'm npt going to change the tyres, they're too good; I'll lose it easliy enough.
  • 1 0
What I meant was, riding will drop you under 26 pounds just through tire wear. Conditions around here is mostly shit too. Snow! Finals!
  • 1 0
Ah right, but to be honest I've never found myself being very heavy on tire wear. I can lose that weight in the chain as the one I've got at the moment is monstrously heavy. I'm going to change the seat as well, something that's shorter then my current one. I'll probably get a Odyssey Senior 2.

 Fucking sick bike man!
  • 1 0
 Drool amazing. it wins
  • 1 2
I just cummed a little. Only complaint would be the fork. I would imagine that revs are even flexier than pikes
  • 2 0
Not in the slightest, My Revs feel much stiffer then my Pikes.
  • 1 0
really? maybe rockshox is stepping up their game a little then
  • 2 0
Well this revelation does have the Power Buldges and a redesigned crown/lowers which looks strong enough to me.
  • 1 0
even my reba. the arch has been redesigned and much stiffer.
  • 1 0
 blk mrkt seat?
  • 1 0
 yep.
  • 1 0
 short or long frame? Smile
  • 1 0
 Short.
  • 1 0
sweet, how do you like it? Smile and where did you buy it?
  • 1 0
 that is so mint
  • 1 0
 Thanks.
