shouldnt do, only happened to mine cos a. it had an awful bb b. i landed really awkwardly and c. i landed really rear heavy and so had no suspension to absorb the impact

If your spindle is only halfway pressed into your crank arm, it probobly means you are running an incorrect BB width,
