They are a shorter coil with fewer windings so that it will work with the 3" and the 2.75. The ID is bigger, but they use a special spacers or bearings to compensate.

The CCDB, is the best by far. Mine will be here in a couple weeks. You'll love it!

Thanks so much, I have one more question I have filled out everything on that page for ordering the CCDB except the Piston End Bolt. And I know you don't need hardware for the lower shock mount because it is mounted via the lower Maestro rocker arm pivot shaft.

So how did you write the size on that ordering form for the piston end bolt?

Is this for a 2010 Glroy? or an 09? If for a 2010 just put on there that it is a 2010 Giant Glory that uses a blank eyelet, Malcom will know what to do. If it is for a 2009 or earlier, you need 30mm for the upper and 35mm for the lower.

Looking good!!! I still think a man with your raw power will want more than a 33T up front... Maybe a 36T or a 50T? Of of those any way.

Man that is such a sick bike, I am getting a double barrrel for my Glory to. Does the obtainium coil work with the CCDB because aren't they a 3 stroke and have a bigger I.D. than the shock?

Is that seat the SDG I-Fly? How do you like the I-Beam? Is that seat preety skinny and not noticable because I am thinking of getting the I-fly but I hate when seats are wide and rub my legs.

 Wow.....that's awesome.

This build could hit 33lbs with the new stem, no tubes, 26 ti pedals, lighter brakes. There is tons of room to go lighter. I will be putting my regular wheels back on, it should be 38ish.

Heck even going to a Boxxer WC woud save you 1.1-1.3 pounds alone. Looks great well worth the wait. Building up your other frame too?

Not to mention a DHX air or a float R

I think 30lbs is doable, just not with my money.

Where did you get your fork bumpers?
  • 1 0
Believe it or not they are old Manitou fork bottom out bumpers, I have used this same set for the last four bikes.
