 plenty of room

whoa just noticed you cut the X brace thingy... should run a bolt through it at least, no?

 Apparently Elka's don't. Seems there's enough room.

Weird... I'd think it'd have plenty of room considering how fatty the RC4 is....

Ran it at Whistler like that and saw no ill-effects. Will be ordering the new brace which can accomodate the RC4. Just rather blow cash on other extravagent bits first. Have to match a certain M6 somehow......

Aww weak no fair! You gotta give me some time to catch up!! Boxxer WC, DM stem, twenty6 pedals!? Give me a few weeks ;]

I think you need to ditch that straitline biz and go straight twenty6. Let me know and I can pin Tyler in a corner and get you the deal.

Waitttt... whaaaat??? For who? I thought Wilson already had that stuff...

Me Straightline? no dice, Twenty6 all the way.

No that big old chunky blue stem on your m6 IGGZ. We need to bling that up with some better colors. Wilson I know your a 26 whore like me.

I like the sound of that :]

Mr-Wilson do you know the price for the new brace?
  • 1 0
No, though I have to head to the lbs this week, I'll ask then.

Cool I can't wait to see some pics. I want some of the highlighter green goodies to bling up the remedy. Wonder how he's coming on elixir levers.

Looked almost ready on the blog (late December ready).

Hmmm $130 shipped.... EF that's not happening for a longgggggggg time =/ Elixir levers look dope though! Too bad I have the CR Mag's, wouldn't work.
  • 1 0
I am pretty sure they would work. I pulled the lever off of a cr mag and sent it to him to take the dimensions so it should be the same. The only other thing that you may need is a diff push rod as the carbon lever mounts a lil diff but I think you should be good to go. Now to find that dough.

Well the Mag levers are held in with the pressed in pivot rather than being held in by a bolt like the other Elixir's which I'm sure you know so unless the hole is the damn same it may need some modifying... Mods are always fun though =]

Is this a new spring material called Invisibulum? That is some aggressive weight savings.
  • 1 0
would you say that the rc4 is easier to set up than the dhx 5.0.
  • 1 0
Not at all. If you like to tinker, than the RC4 is well worth it. Took me about 3 days at the hill to get it roughly where I wanted it.

it's just the boost valve adjustment that gets my goat,is the new one more like a bottom out bumper.
