someone mentioned to me, they could just be being stupid and fussy, but the backend/dropouts area looks a bit weak and easily bendable becuase of the thin tubing. what would you say. whats it strenghend by. i'm sorta comparing this to an ns suburban 24", of which to buy. whats better about this.

I've read that same comment and all i have to say for that is this is the same design as our 26" Mob frame with similar butte profiles and materials except these are almost an 1.25" shorter, therefore stiffer, lighter, stronger, faster.... like the 6 Million Dollar Man. check this link to see it in action... vimeo.com/7938856

Go to our Contraband album in our photos section. There are 3 colors, this one (orange), black and neon green. This is the production frame, so are the black and green pictured. We will have a Contraband page up on blackmarketbikes.com this week too.

did you stop producing mob, and riot for 2010?
i haven't been in the bike loop for a while. haha
i know you have completes like the Malice, and the Soldier in full build.
  • 2 0
No, we will still produce the Mob but they will be built at Waterford in Wisconsin. The Riot's and .357's have been discontinued and replaced by the Malice and Soldier. Check out blackmarketbikes.com for more info... we will be re-doing the site shortly to include the 2010 product line.

so is that frame strictly for rigid fork or will a lowered 80mm suspension fork work on it?
  • 1 0
it's designed for a 60-80mm suspension fork mainly.

sorry for being retarded, but i really dont know the answer to this... does the contraband use bmx hub like capital2? or 10mm axle mtb hub? and would it hurt the frame much if i use a 100mm fork?
  • 1 0
Hi Mike, No, it uses a 135mm mtb hub and has disc tabs. Any 10mm axle will work. No, it would only make your geometry whack. carter
