 It was called Ape Skate, located in Stockton on Tees They sacked off the trails in favour of a skate section, the whole place shut in 2007 to be turned into housing. Rode there a few times, it had a foam pit too!

 yeah it was APE skatepark, run by Turbo Tash the ban on brakeless BMX practically killed the BMX side of the park, and then the local authorities and Sport England refused to provide any support to fund the ongoing development of the complex

 we hear all the time that places are going to open..but it never happens!

the big killer of indoor facilities in the UK is the stupidly high land rental costs

makes sense if you operate a garden centre or supermarket where you are making mad cash money, but not for skateparks Frown

 Not In Newcastle Mate, It Was In Thornaby, Stockton- On - Tees .. But was taken out to make a street skate section, then thw park was closed about '06 / '07 time
