Ludo, the bike looks awesome! cheers for sending me the pics, much appreciated Glad you kept it true to the original colour scheme too! Hope it rides as well as it looks luigi, this bike is a former World cup riders bike, schwinn factory team in '98 its a classic, and the lawhill rear suspension design was held in high regard, some bikes still use it, e.g. Rotec allbeit a modified design.

The OEM shwinn fork was a red RockShox 151 Boxxer

I think Luigi wans't born in 1999 and 2000. He was still in his father's balls. When you don't know, you don't speak. I'm happy others love this bike.

This comment tells u have absolutly no idea of older dh bikes, or any bike what so ever, thats a proper Schwinn Dh frame, simmilar to the old Yeti. Very nice bike btw!

the schwinns i have seen are walmart and crappy tire brand and because I have NEVER heard of someone riding a schwinn for dh I assume that they are a piece. Obviously now i know that at one point they were slightly less crappy but that doesnt mean i dont have any idea what im talking about for bikes...

This Schwinn isnt 'less crappy' then the others, it was a wc bike back then, it was almost exactly the same as the old Yeti Dh8 frame with the pill shock and floating brake system on the back end, as a result if u have any idea and real interest about Dh or bikes that look like Dh bikes, u should have seen like only one or two pictures of this on old world cup races and so on.Not being personal or anything, just pointing out facts. just for you to see: www.pinkbike.com/photo/116382
