That's insane, well done once again!

what did u use to write on the frame??
  • 1 0
I used to use industrial strength sharpie, on this build i used permapaque markers. next build i am using sharpie paint markers.

 oil or water based?
and btw this is looks pretty badass imo
  • 1 0
not 100% sure but i think its acrylic based.

Dude the Sharpie paint markers (from my experience) aren't that good. I would look into some of the krink and/or Decocolor paint markers, they work really well.
  • 1 0
yea ive heard krink is pretty good
  • 1 0
im actually going to be using artline markers, i just tested some out that i got in and they are amazing, when dry they are so tough that they dont even need clear coat.
  • 1 0
Hmmm never heard of them. I'm saving up for a nice big set of Copics. Big Grin

ive got 3 krinks for sale under my buy sell...there transparent but look sick, i have a dark blue kinda black, green and i think green

lol krinks, copics, artlines, sharpie paint markers... sooo many options, what do u guys think is the best?
  • 1 0
Copics are by far the best, but probably not for this project.
  • 1 0

wow very clean man nice job

What will be your asking price on this frame?
  • 1 0
no asking price because i dont know what to ask, i paid 900 canadian for it last year but now the dollar is messed up and they lowered the price on these frames, so it would cost about 700 canadian now without the paint. so im looking for 700+ w/e people want to offer ont he paint job (80+ hours this one took)
  • 1 0
i think you could put it on ebay with a asking price of 600+$$ then the bids will go up.
  • 1 0
ya i was thinking about that, im going to give pinkbike guys a week to give offers starting monday though, then if i dont see any good offers to ebay it goes
  • 1 0
yeah that is more than likely your best bet man, but i can't see PB'ers giving legitimate offers vs. what it is worth.
  • 1 0
:O That is the sickest paint job EVER!
  • 1 0
your fave ratio on this pic is like 8.5:1, f*ck sakes, that's crazy!
  • 3 0
i could EASILY look at this everday!
  • 1 0
lol man, just wait till i get an airbrush gun then you'll start seeing way nicer stuff from me
  • 1 0
what kind of frame is this originally
  • 1 0
 tonic fab., "fall guy".
  • 1 0
 awesome
  • 1 0
this is amazing did he screw up doing it sometimes??
  • 1 0
nice thing about being abstract Wink , any "screw ups" I can just modify to be part of the art.
  • 1 0
holy fuck. that looks wayyyyy too good for freehand You got skills.
  • 1 0
How much did this end up going for?
  • 1 0
so something like this costs 300$?
  • 1 0
man you should do this for a living you would make so much money
  • 1 0
Outa interest, how much did this sell for in the end?
  • 1 0
since the us dollar fucked up so bad it sold for the same i paid for it. so pretty much 80 hours work for nothing lol.
  • 1 0
Ah that sucks man, its the nature of art though - under-appreciated. its not for nothing though, your work is sick, an if it helps to get your name out there, in the future it'll be a good thing if you wana do this as a job/sidejob...
  • 1 0
how much would it cost to do something like this
  • 1 0
 So nice!
  • 1 0
 thats sick!
  • 1 0
