Wow, that's perfect. I was thinking about getting a Dobermann Pinscher frame, because they take a 31.6 post, but I can't find out if their tt lengths are actual or theoretical. The Jackal might be what I've been waiting for. Probably lighter too. I think a 410x30.9mm post would work for me.

 My frame weighed 5.11 lbs.

NIce frame. The color reminds me of that Staats frame I used to have.

What's the ttt length?
  • 2 3
Yeah the color is very similar. The tt is 23.5" (size Large)

Do you race this bike? It's an awesome bike by the way!
  • 1 3
 No, it's my street bike.
  • 1 0
Looks like more of a 4X racer than a street bike what with gears and a revelation fork. Don't you keep braking things?
  • 3 3
I almost always run gears on my street bikes. Also no, I don't break things because I'm not that good at riding, I just like bikes a lot.

My ass says that is the worst seat it has ever touched.

My freind has a funn skinny saddle. They really are not that unconfortable. And on a long ride my better than most because of the shape.

I have the Funn's other saddle as well....MUCH better. I also have the BlkMrkt Brass Knuckles seat, and it is the most comfortable and best looking. Maybe you just have a little extra natural cushioning.

It's really more about how your pelvis is shaped and where your sit bones are.

Your Ischial Tuberosity ...I know. I'm in product design.
  • 1 1
Well you threw me off when you said "maybe you just have a little extra natural cushioning."

looks so good, the adjustable post is a sweet idea for the bike.

Thanks. The post is literally just something I had laying around. I recently swapped it for an S-Works carbon setback post and saved 0.6 lbs.

 are those stylo octs?
  • 1 3
No, they are regular Stylo 1.1's.
  • 1 0
planning on replacing them for something higher end? you seem like an xt/xtr crank person to me.
  • 1 2
Of course. I just bought the Stylos to get the bike rolling. Everything I upgrade on my Nomad will trickle down to the Jackal, so eventually I'll have XTs on it.
