no way man the red looks dope.

The bike as is with welgo pedals, xc tubes,Ti spring, and high rollers is 36.8. Little bit lighter than the 00 because of the wheels(a lot), forks, cranks (i think) , and the brakes.

when I first saw the new glory I thought it was disgusting but this is lush
(Mar 5, 2010 at 4:35)
looks so much better without a massive pair of shitty 40's on it :>
(Mar 12, 2010 at 17:57)
whats the weight of the bike ??
(Mar 13, 2010 at 3:38)
With the stock settup it is 38.5 lbs, so I believe with these parts it will be a little bit under 38 lbs which is awesome...

obviously this is an opinion and the neg prop is all good at least I know what decent components are... Fox racing shox is the number one world seller with their sub 7lb fork..what has zocchi got even with a ti spring and dont get me started on boxxer they cant even figure out how to level the playing field with three f*ckin forks on the market( race, team, and world cup)... yeah sam hill rides it big f*ckin deal... you ever heard its the rider not the ride...
(Mar 12, 2010 at 0:34)
How are Boxxers not "decent components?" The Boxxer has won more DH races than any other fork on the market. Rock Shox has been making high quality race-winning mountain bike suspension products for over twice as long as Fox has (1989 vs 2001). RS was making Boxxer 151s when Fox was still prototyping Vanilla 125 RLCs. Seriously
about your statements before you make them next time.
(Mar 12, 2010 at 2:54)
nah, Rockshox have been making mtb forks for a long time, but have never made 'high quality' stuff, they're full of nasty plastic bits and have crap quality seals and bushings, their internal assemblys are poorly/cheaply designed and their fork's damping systems are very sub-par to Fox's.
And please... place a boxer at the top of a hill and it will not win a race, it will just sit there - I hate to think how many more races Peaty might have won if he was using Fox forks. Rockshox feel like spongy/sticky crap on all models I've ever ridden, you simply can't say that about Fox forks!
(Mar 12, 2010 at 3:17)
blah blah blah blah shut the fuck up
(Mar 12, 2010 at 7:59)
I didn't realize the bottom of the downtube was red like that... very nice. Giant should have really showed that off o their website, because this 3/4 view looks way better than a plain side-view. That's a good lookin' bike.
(Mar 12, 2010 at 15:58)
'some-guy' - lol! I like your attitude!
(Mar 12, 2010 at 18:21)
ya you go ahead and tell me the history.. its funny that Fox has surpassed rockshox in very little time as the
fork seller.. should I mention the amount of time again... prototype or not you think that rockshox would have a decent fork by now... I blew a wc's seals on the UCI angel fire course... Now tell me again who has decent components??
(Mar 12, 2010 at 18:33)
icedemon... see my previous comment
(Mar 12, 2010 at 21:37)
dude, icedemon has some serious bikes in his quiver. we all better listen....
(Apr 1, 2010 at 15:19)
icedemon05lrb, it is indeed the rider not the bike - I'll beat you on a shopping bike AND I wont put down other riders with bikes equally shit as my own. There I said it.
(Apr 18, 2011 at 16:54)
just to add this in there, the retard with the very first comment compared fox shocks to marzocchi. too bad its an elka...
(Mar 3, 2010 at 21:08)
not really digging the red and I would rather have a fox on the front...
(Mar 4, 2010 at 16:22)
Please dont tell me icedemon05lrb doesnt like it... I mean if he doesnt like it, how could anyone else like it?
(Mar 7, 2010 at 19:22)
I thought I liked this bike at first, but then I saw icedemon05lrb's comment, and now... I just don't know what to believe anymore...
(Mar 12, 2010 at 8:44)
u dont kno who to trust on this shyt. that bike is tight, giant is a good company.
(Mar 12, 2010 at 22:08)
i dont know.. icedmon made me skeptical.
(Apr 19, 2010 at 4:29)
the red is freakin mint. it make it look more like a racing machine. and my personal opinion are that boxxers are better, they go will with the colour scheme. where as the fox's i think wouldn't. maybe it would if the red was grey
