i would have kept the V10.

You cant honestly be comparing a scream to a v10. One is decade old 4 bar linkage design and one is virtual pivot point technology that blows it out of the water.
  • 1 1
"One is decade old faux bar linkage design and one is a 4 bar design." move the chain stay pivot on the v10 back to just infront of the droputs and it would be an 4 bar bike
  • 2 0
but its not... hence the word "Would" so that point you just made is completely pointLESS and should be disregarded.
  • 1 0
it is four bar though. a was saying that it's a faux bar (link actuated single pivot) not a four bar design and vpp is a four bar design anyway.

 r you sure it's 2003 frame-i don't think so. i've got a scream 03 myself and gotta say dat the scream is just cult-absolutly with a monster t on it-almost unbreakable,period!!!
  • 2 2
Seeing as it's my old bike and it said "2003" on the goddamn frame, maybe you should shut your mouth.
  • 4 1

If you're dead-set on keeping that thing, paint both wheels the same colour.
  • 2 1
and switch that backwards rotor around! v10 is a better bike, my opinion and i'll stick to it. dependant on what year v10 you had too...
  • 1 0
 i had a 2004

  • 3 0

  • 2 1
v10's are the best especially the old ones set it up right and theres no sag issues. i regret letting my old bike go
  • 1 0
too much sag? bad suspension setup maybe.
  • 1 0
lol you cant run a v10 with less than like 30% sag. so it cant be the suspension settings.
  • 1 0
i ran my v10 with less than 30% sag...
  • 1 0
i ran 3.5-4 inchs of sag
  • 1 0
looks killer man, everything go together alright?
  • 1 0
i just did 3 miles of climbing on it
  • 2 1
Sick ride!! God blesses those who bless others!
  • 2 1
Sounds a bit self-serving to me... Oh wait, you're religious.
  • 1 1
 be nice
  • 1 0
Be more intelligent. I won't get into this online, because non-religious people don't need to listen to me rant about what they already know.

On another note, did you get the other wheel painted?
  • 1 0
im not not religious my belief in jesus christ has nothing to do with you if you dont like then dont comment on my pic! and no i have a black 24 rear now
  • 3 0
This is my whole problem with religion. If people kept it to themselves, there would be no such thing a religious wars, powerful religious figures having their way with little boys, etc. But, it seems as though nearly everyone belonging to a religion has to out-do the next religion. Good to hear about the new rear, post a pic.
  • 2 0
i dont have religion i have faith but thats your opinion i agree this is not the place to get into it let us go for a coffee and we can talk some time
  • 2 0

  • 1 0
 that thing is super shitty!
  • 1 0
 what year?
  • 1 0
 its a 2003
  • 2 2
id watch out, i believe that year had a problem with the lower shock mount cracking
  • 1 0
 i think that was 04
  • 3 0
"the older Scream (pre 2006) was prone to cracking around the shock basement area as this entire area was one piece (including the bottom bracket and swingarm pivot) and there were problems with heat treating such a huge lump of metal which is why for 2006 it was redesigned and they went back to seperate welded shock mounts tabs and bottom bracket / swingarm pivot forging for 2006 and 2007 the 6" travel setting was dumped (the old Scream had 6"/7"/8") and it came with 7"/8" settings". just keep an eye out
