hey man, what company u gettin these qoutes from? the cheapest quotes i can get for a starlet non-glanza with no mods is £2300. ive looked all over the price comparison sites and direct line etc cant find a qoute for any car for under 1900.

use go compare, make sure to state its ony for social, and put ur excess really high, sayit wont be used at weekends, i just got an 07 clio sport and im 1600 fully comp, (ps not passed test yet but thats how uch it will be)

dude no wonder if you say provisional it will be fucking cheaper, when your getting a quote for your car you have to put full UK licence , thats the price it will be when you pass. i could get 1400 on a 1.6 on provisional but when i have full UK licence its about 3600
  • 1 0
i had it down as full licence mate, it would have cost 2.2 k whereas my clio only 1.6

aaahhhh was going to say but mate sweet ride for a first car get a non turbo dump valve fitted
  • 1 0
lol yea im planing to get a couple thing done like top end rebuild with rebore and induction kit and maybe change the crappy exhaust for performance on
yea i love it for a first car, just the respray it had is a bitt shabby and would like a nice respray and some black alloys(or white/orange but orange could look very stupid:/)
  • 1 0
there is no point get a performance exhaust on the car at all unles its a bigger sized engine , unless you mean a back box to 'make it louder'
  • 1 0
yehh i noo...insurence know urs is modified ?
  • 1 0
erm no, but im goin to go third party fire nd theft so dunno
  • 1 0
i wouldnt tell them i say theres alloys insurence goes up about 350 quid and theres loads on yous id jus say its standard matee and defo go 3rd party as you dont have insurence as it is
  • 1 0
third party fire and theft cz no matter what my own car wont get fixed so when u mod it it dont make a difference i dont think...well not much of a difference
  • 1 0
if you havnt told your insurer its got mods your insurence is invalid so they will do you for no insurence
  • 1 0
i will tell them as only mods that need declared are exhasut alloys, and front apoiler, as the tints are removable as is the sticker on bonnet
  • 1 0
your insurence will be about grand or over matee
  • 1 0
will be about 1500-1800 i think
  • 1 0
if its a first car and its your own insurence not a named driver it would be well into the 2grand mate!
  • 1 1
was nearly close lol i know it goes up quiete abitt after a year it like halfs dsnt it
  • 1 0
you mean down and yea it does basically half
  • 1 0
try putting them on the insurance and see what happens
  • 1 0
do you no what your talking about wit the top end rebuild
  • 1 0
rebore new pistons and rings aswell as valves and vavle stem seals or whatever they are
  • 1 0
 Rebore is bottom end work?
  • 1 0
is it called rehone then? when they drill the cylidner slightly over size...tbh i think ill keep it standar for about 6 months and after that ill buy something smarter and faster
  • 1 0
 Sweeeeeeet Razz
  • 1 1
nooo its about 350 quid more for having alloys mate
  • 1 0
