So you underexposed the background by a stop and half and lit the rider up pretty well and pressed the button at exactly the right time. That's a great start Stik, but I expect more from you. I want to see great composition and something more dynamic, not just a guy in the air in the middle of the frame. Lets make it a challenge, I know you can do way better than this.
Ian...serious? Where did I say I was proud of the photo? this is a place where I post photos that would have otherwise been deleted. Not to mention it was a day I should have been in bed with a blown back. But thanks for the expert tips anyways, hope you are enjoying the Trek gig I gave ya. lol
Gave me a Trek job? I didn't know you worked at Trek Stik. As far as I'm aware I was hired by Trek because they wanted me to shoot photos for them, not sure how you fit into that picture? Did you tell them to hire me? I know a few other people did.
And as far as saying you were 'proud' of the photo I don't think I ever said that, but why would you post photos that you weren't proud of? And then link to them on my POD? That just makes you look bad... But I guess you're not worried about that now as you have a full time paid gig...
Yes, I was going to do the Trek deal for 2010, but at last minute I was offered the marketing director job at Intense…great opportunity for me and I get to be home with my family every day.
So Trek asked me if I knew of any other guys to hire, I gave them some names and the rest is history.
