How tall are you if u think u are to tall for bmx then? Cos i can ride a bmx at any height, I am 6ft 4 and i ride and race a bmx. And i have only go 8" rise bars and an xl frame if you are tall than than u can get 8.25" rise bars or high and get an xxl or xxxl frame so don't use the shit excuse that you are to tall.

i used to ride bmx... but then i realized i looked ridiculous riding a kid's bike. tricks on mtn bikes look soooo much better anyway... unless you're short, or wear those gay skinny jeans and then you just look weird and awkward.

First of all, I said a guy might as well wear a bra and thong if they're gonna wear skinny jeans because ONLY GIRLS SHOULD WEAR SKINNY JEANS AND GIRLS WEAR BRAS AND THONGS THEREFORE, IF YOU'RE GONNA BE A GIRL AND WEAR SKINNY JEANS YOU SHOULD COMPLETE THE OUTFIT. And secondly, I have absolutely nothing against gays but gay men like to check out other gay men so it would make sense for GAY men to wear skinny, revealing jeans (the reason why you should be called gay if you wear skinny jeans). atmos-fair you know my stance completely so i will continue to think skinny jeans are only for girls (and you're gay if you wear them) and i'm sure as hell not the only man to think this. as for "people like me" stereotyping, skinny jeans are not the only type of clothing people stereotype on (if you wear a swastika on your shirt you're considered a nazi/white supremacist, you wear a suit and you're some sort of business person, etc) so get used to it.

but if graves was in the air then he wouldnt be gaining speed. the guy in the air is gonna proberbly land at about the same speed that he took off at, but graves is gonna be shot over that roller and continue zooming down the track and eventuly win. as he always does. air looks good, but its slower.

I race bmx, and can tell you, that airing is quicker than manualing, while almost as fast does require more effort and does not gain you much speed, where as shooting over a jump low, and then pumping into the landing, is much quicker. also there are no bumps in the air to slow you down, where as in a manual, the pump you are trying to manual too, slows you down as you go over it.

What is faster through a rythym ? Manualing, Pumping, or Jumping ? A mix of Manuals and pumps. A manual is just a form of pumping without having both wheels on the ground for resistance.

Are the tracks there super deep ? Was actually planning a trip there.
I just know I get around most tracks about 3 seconds faster when I pull a mixture of pick-taps, and tap manuals then jumping.

thats definetly worth pod... its one of the only pictures iv seen on the home page that grabs my attention and makes me want to see it in a larger scale.. thats what pod should be doing. good choice in my opinion !

The "unknown" rider is Norways Sebastian Kartfjord who happens to be an olympian as well.
In 2008 Graves was among the best on his BMX bike, however in Copenhagen you could see he was still adapting to a BMX bike again (Copenhagen was only a week after the 1st WC 4X). Among others he did not get the full speed out of his manuals yet...

I never said bmx didn't have an influence on mountain biking, I said that if bmxs never existed or no mtn bikers ever paid attention to what was going on in the bmx world, people would still end up doing tricks on mtn bikes. Tricks on bikes is a form of expression and a style not limited to any one kind of bicycle. Face it.

Of course not! Even before bmx bikes exist people do tricks on bikes... it´s a long way process and human nature. But in that process, some disciplines have much more influence, i think.

I ride a 26" BLK MRKT now...but I grew up riding and racing 20"'s and will never forget were the roots of all extreme biking came from...IT'S 20" BMX PEOPLE. Everyone needs to stop hating on each other...we obviously all ride 2 wheels bikes, who cares what aspect of the 2 wheel sport you enjoy. JUST GET OUT AND RIDE!!!
