Fat as in heavy. But it is a nice bike. See a few ways you can get it lighter

25.66 lbs is not heavy. Swapping the tires out is the first thing I've done to purposefully lose weight on it. I could easily get it sub 25, but right now all my money is going towards my Nomad C build.

Just busting chops. It's lighter then I thought it would build up. I would drill out the LG1 back plate for free weight loss. Lighter pedals, Twenty6 or 4x or Point One Stem, Master Piece with SLR saddle will get you in the 24lbs range. Forget those Hive cranks my biggest waste of money . Only saved 2oz over XT with Chris King bb. That Jackle is a huge improvement over the first gen.

I'm probably going to do 240s on ZTR Arch rims, XTR cranks, 10-speed X.0, a new LG-1+, a Masterpiece, and Schwalbe Racing Ralphs. Should get to 24 lbs easily. My rear wheel with the cassette and rotor weighs 1550g, and that's what the entire 240/Arch wheelset should weigh.

Yeah kicking myself for going with Hive over XTR. I am happy with my Absolut at 24lbs but I would also like a lighter reliable wheelset.

I'm not sure what you mean by "fat."
